Hi there,
My delightful friend, Rita, has been baking and sent me a wonderful note and recipe to share with you all. I just know you are going to enjoy it because it looks like this pumpkin came from the “most sincere patch” Charlie Brown.
Good morning Bern! As October moves along and pumpkins are plentiful, my family couldn’t help but request some pumpkin bread!!! It’s only at this time of year does it come to the forefront of their tastebuds.
As I put 2 large loaves and 4 smaller ones in the oven, I thought of you and thought you might like to share this with your viewers.
I eliminate the raisins and nuts due to allergies, however, I have made it with them and it is delicious both ways!!
I hope you enjoy. Hope to see you soon! Happy Fall!! 🍁🍂🎃
I can’t wait to try this recipe and I definitely need to find out where Rita got that great cake pan.
Talk soon, 💕🎃Bernadette

Looks scrummy!! I love the neat printing on the recipe card. Mine would be unreadable.
I hear you Darlene. I usually retype handwritten notes but this was sooo neat I went with it. Havea great week Darlene.
I love pumpkin bread, and her baking pan is sure more interesting than mine.
It sure is pretty and made a nice presentation. Have a good week Judy.
It looks fabulous! My husband loves pecans and raisins, so definitely keep them both.

That would be my choice to Angie. I always like a bit of crunch when I eat something. Have a great week.
Pumpkin bread was always a favorite at my holiday meals. This sounds luscious.
Do you still serve it? What do you serve now for the holidays Jacqui?
My family that now gathers aren’t fans of pumpkin bread and our appetites are too large so we keep to the basics. I do miss it.
My sister is an absolute fan of pumpkin bread, so I’m sending this to her!! Thanks!
She must love this time of the year. Thanks for stopping by Dorothy
That Pumpkin Bread looks amazing!!
Thanks Charlie!
I like the recipe, but I too want that pan! I have never thought of mixing those two together, I wonder how Pumpkin would go with banana bread? I may try it! Will take a picture of it if it comes out good and post it!
I think it would be super moist and a great idea. I would love a picture and your version recipe.
Sounds delicious!! Glad you included the handwritten card!!
Thanks Sue. You sure have been busy. Your creativity astounds me.

It sounds fantastic. I must try this 🙂
Wow! That looks beautiful and perfect 😍
ah yes such neat handwriting. mine is a scribble:) We don’t have tinned pumpkin here so we have to go the whole hog of chopping and baking a pumpkin first Not too hard really; i roast it skin and all then take the skin off. easy peasy!
I always wondered if you could cook pumpkin that way. Do you chop it up and take out the seeds first?
