With Super Bowl Sunday fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to share with you three easy and delicious finger food recipes.
“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”
Paul Prodhomme
Football season is snack season, and finger food is the name of the game. Why not take advantage of this relaxed time this Super Bowl weekend by getting out of your comfort zone and trying something new?
Italian Meatballs in a Biscuit
From Diane, at https://.indianeskitchen.com, comes this fun and easy recipe for finger food. Here is her description, “These are made with canned biscuits (or your own), seasoned, stuffed with a meatball, topped with butter and Parmesan cheese, baked then dipped in spaghetti sauce. You have to taste these, they were amazing!”
Parmesan Soft Pretzels
From Andrea at, https://cookingwithawallflower.com, comes this fantastic idea for a snack. If you are from the Philadelphia Region you are going to love this recipe. Here is Andrea’s description, “These soft pretzels are soo amazing. It does take a little bit of waiting for the dough to rise. But in the end, it’s worth it. The pretzels are soft yet chewy and covered in parmesan cheese. It makes the perfect snack. And it’s the kind of snack I’d want to serve on game day. Plus, leftovers can make a great breakfast the next day or another afternoon snack.”
Crispy Tofu Bites
From Paula Roy at, https://constantlycooking.com, comes an almost healthy snack for the big day. I will let Paula describe it, “These little two-bite gems are so delicious that even ardent carnivores seem to love them, including my husband who previously swore he would never enjoy tofu, until he tasted these! They’re ideal for families who are learning about the vegetarian or vegan lifestyle but great for omnivores too. Simple to make, they are as satisfying and nutritious as they are tasty.”
